Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Usage history (e.g. generated images, plan type, and account activity)

Generated Images

  • You own all images you generate using ProductShot.
  • We only store generated images if you explicitly choose to save them.
  • Saved images are securely stored in AWS S3.
  • You may delete your saved images at any time.
  • Depending on your plan, saved images may be automatically deleted after a set period (e.g. 30, 90, or 365 days).
  • We do not use your generated images to train AI models or for any other purpose.

Uploaded Images

If you upload an image for generation, it is processed temporarily and not retained after processing.

Analytics Data

We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with ProductShot. These tools may collect anonymized information such as:

  • Browser type and version
  • Device information
  • IP address (anonymized or truncated)
  • Usage patterns

When you use ProductShot to generate an image, your input (such as text prompts or uploaded content) is securely transmitted to Google Gemini for processing. We do not use your data or generated images to train AI models. Gemini processes data transiently and does not retain your inputs or outputs after generation.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure.

  • Supabase – authentication and database management
  • AWS S3 – image storage
  • Polar – payments and subscription management
  • Google Gemini – AI model used to generate and enhance images

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Saved images are automatically deleted after the retention period of your plan (e.g. 30, 90, or 365 days).
  • You may manually delete your saved images at any time.
  • If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share limited data only with trusted service providers who help operate our Services, such as hosting, authentication, and payment processing.

All third parties are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than where you reside, including the United States and the European Union. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant authorities.
