Terms of Service

Welcome to ProductShot (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using ProductShot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Overview

ProductShot allows users to generate, edit, and manage AI-generated images. You retain ownership of the images you create, subject to these Terms. Depending on your plan, you may have options for saving and managing generated images.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use ProductShot. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the authority to enter into this agreement.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, please contact us immediately at support@productshot.io.

4. Generated Images and Content Ownership

  • You own all rights to the images you generate using ProductShot.
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your generated images solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g., allowing you to view, download, or manage your images).
  • We only retain images if you explicitly choose to save them. Depending on your subscription plan, saved images may be automatically deleted after a set period (e.g., 30, 90, or 365 days).
  • You can delete your saved images at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ProductShot to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Generate or share content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to ProductShot.

6. Third-Party Services

ProductShot integrates with third-party providers, including but not limited to:

  • Gemini (by Google) for AI model inference and image generation.
  • Supabase for authentication, data storage, and user account management.
  • Polar for managing subscriptions and payments.
  • Amazon Web Services (S3) for image storage.
  • Analytics providers (such as Vercel Analytics or Google Analytics) for usage insights.

7. Subscription Plans and Payments

Certain features of ProductShot require a paid subscription.

  • Payments are processed securely through Polar or other authorized payment processors.
  • Subscription terms (including pricing, renewal, and cancellation policies) are clearly displayed at the time of purchase.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and your access will remain active until the end of your billing period.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the ProductShot platform, including the software, trademarks, and branding, are owned by ProductShot or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Service Availability and Updates

We aim to provide reliable access to ProductShot, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

10. Disclaimers

ProductShot is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service or any generated content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProductShot and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or as required by law.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@productshot.io.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
